Per interview room: two cameras (flush-mounted domes, capturing the room and the subject), two microphones on separate audio channels, one main unit that handles encoding, encryption, and upload, one illuminated start/stop button inside or outside the room, a storage card for local backup, all the cabling and a battery backup unit, both shared across rooms.
Behind that: professional installation by certified partners, staff training and platform setup, cloud storage with no caps, live streaming for authorized observers, firmware updates, 24/7 health monitoring, and integration with Guardify Evidence. Hardware support and replacement run the full term, covering defects and failures at no charge.
Capture needs Guardify Evidence. The room creates the recording, and Evidence is where it’s stored, secured, and shared, so the two work as a pair. Case Management is optional on top. If you already run Evidence, Capture plugs straight in.
No. The room reports its own health and flags issues before the interviewer walks in. We handle the hardware, the firmware updates, and the support. If you have an IT contact, they get the alert. If you don’t, the room still takes care of itself.
The room keeps recording either way.
If the network drops, the recording continues to a storage card inside the room and uploads automatically once the connection returns. The interviewer never notices anything happened, and nothing has to be re-entered afterward.
If the power drops, a battery backup keeps the room running so the interview isn’t cut short. When the building comes back up, the room reconnects and uploads on its own.
Schedule the interview against a room and it starts recording at the appointed time, which removes the human step. Capture doesn’t record continuously in the background, so a session that was never started can’t be recovered afterward. Scheduling is the answer, and it’s the first thing we teach during onboarding.
SOC 2 Type II audited, CJIS compliant, and HIPAA compliant, hosted in AWS GovCloud (US) on FedRAMP High infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is granted per person and per case (down to audio, video, attachments, and annotations), and every view, download, and share is logged. Attestation letters are available on request, and your IT contact can find the full detail at Guardify.com/trust-center.
