Every time I visit a Child Advocacy Center, a Police Department, or a District Attorney’s office; I’m struck by the amazing opportunity to introduce innovation. We see a lot of outdated (and not secure) technology, a lot of data entry, a lot of slamming the side of computer monitors and towers – all at the cost of not being able to spend more time with kids, families, and engaging the communities.
It’s become something of an obsession of ours at Guardify; “can we create a technology solution that dramatically reduces the amount of time the front lines spend with their ‘hands on a keyboard’ and more time serving kids and families?”
Today, we are introducing Connected Agencies: a unified platform that brings together recording rooms, digital evidence management, and case management into one connected experience. By having one system that is designed to bring everything together, it allows technology to fade into the background and allows people to be more human. But this isn’t really a story about software. It’s a story about the people who use it.
We’ve Never Been in the Software Business
We’ve always been in the business of giving time back to the people who need it most. Time to build trust. Time to ask one more thoughtful question. Time to comfort a frightened child. Time to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Time that too often gets consumed by technology that demands attention instead of quietly doing its job.
Our belief has always been simple: technology should give frontline professionals superpowers, not another login. That’s why our guiding principle has become: more time with kids and families, less time with hands on keyboards.
Our Journey Has Always Been About Removing Friction
When we first entered this space, agencies were still burning DVDs. Evidence was physically transported. Sharing interviews was slow, expensive, and complicated. We helped replace DVDs with secure digital evidence sharing, making collaboration faster, safer, and more accountable.
Since 2018, Guardify has provided AI-powered transcription to help agencies spend less time documenting interviews and more time preparing for the conversations and decisions that matter most. We weren’t chasing hype. We were solving problems.
Earlier this year, we also introduced Guardify Cases, an innovative approach to case management systems, allowing users to customize workflow rules without IT teams, reports that can be generated by users, and tools that simply make work…less work.
Today, we’re now officially also launching our Capture recording technology solution, a modern solution that displaces legacy recording hardware systems that require “on-prem” or on-premise servers and server closets.
Every innovation we’ve introduced has started with the same question: how can technology remove one more burden from the people serving children and families? Guardify Connected Agencies is the biggest answer we’ve built to that question.
