Yes. Guardify offers a fully-supported Partner API that allows secure transfer of media, metadata, and case information between systems. We work directly with your team to explore and implement the right integration path.

Yes. Guardify is CJIS, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliant. Our infrastructure is built with layered security, including encryption across the full data lifecycle and background-checked personnel with controlled access to criminal justice information.

Does Guardify track physical evidence?

Guardify is optimized to track digital evidence. Physical evidence can be tracked by uploading a tracking document as an attachment or by using the Case Notes feature when appropriate.

What type of files does Guardify support?

Guardify processes a large library of file types, including many proprietary formats. If a file type cannot be processed, an administrator can preload proprietary players to be packaged with videos when downloaded.

How long is data kept in the Guardify system?

At case close, you can delete the case, archive it for long-term storage, or keep it active. You determine retention rules, and Guardify reporting tools help apply them, including bulk archiving.

What access does Guardify have to user data?

Guardify business employees have no access to your evidence. Developer access is tightly controlled and limited to authorized personnel only.

Do Guardify employees have background checks?

Yes. Background checks are conducted on all Guardify employees. Where state-specific background checks are required, Guardify complies accordingly.

Is Guardify available on my desktop?

Yes. Guardify is accessible in any web browser. For secure bulk uploads, Guardify Connect, the desktop application, enables fast transfers from local devices or cloud platforms.

Is Guardify available on my mobile device?

Yes. Guardify Mobile allows personnel to securely capture, upload, and manage evidence without storing media locally on the device, helping keep officer devices out of discovery.

Is the platform designed specifically for law enforcement workflows?

Yes. Guardify is purpose-built for law enforcement, with role-based access controls, structured case fields, and evidence tools designed for investigative workflows.

Can we securely collect and manage digital evidence from sources like body cams, phones, or civilians?

Yes. Guardify supports bulk uploads, secure evidence requests, and organized intake from body cams, mobile devices, and civilians. The Requested Evidence feature allows secure public submissions without account creation, and Guardify Connect enables fast transfers from local or cloud storage.

Does Guardify support automated transcription and video review tools?

Yes. Guardify uses AI-powered tools for transcription, object detection, redaction, and actionable insights to help investigators surface key evidence faster.

Can we control user access by role, case, or evidence type?

Yes. Role-based permissions allow agencies to customize access by team, role, or case, ensuring proper custodianship and oversight at every stage.

How easily can we share evidence with prosecutors or other agencies?

Evidence can be securely shared with permission-based access. All sharing activity is automatically tracked to maintain full chain of custody from intake onward.

SMS Notification Terms

1. Program Description

Guardify offers optional SMS (text message) notifications to users of the Guardify platform. Messages may include alerts about account-security events, appointment and calendar changes, task reminders, case activity, and case-access requests. Messages are sent only to users who have verified their mobile phone number and expressly opted in within the Guardify application. Consent to receive SMS notifications is not a condition of using Guardify, and declining SMS does not affect your access to the Services.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notification types you have enabled.

3. Fees

Message and data rates may apply. Any such charges are billed by your mobile carrier under your mobile service plan. Guardify does not charge for SMS notifications.

4. Opting Out

You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. You can re-enroll by replying START or by opting in again within the Guardify application. You can also disable SMS notifications from your profile settings in the application.

6. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

Your mobile number and opt-in information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy at https://guardify.com/privacy-policy/. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Changes
